Basic setup

As the first step in the setup, there is some basic setup to be covered. This setup applies to all locations within the company where you are logged in. Find the setup page by searching for Basic Setup (OWM) or by going via the Role Center Explorer.

General information - essential for OWM to work

Field	Description
License Key	Enter the license key that you received from your NORRIQ contact. This is strictly necessary to begin using Online Warehouse Management.
Company ID	This number must be unique for each company that you are using with OWM.

Connection information for scanning devices

Field	Description
Address for PDA to connect to	This is the address that the scanner should use for the connection. If you are using OWM for an On Premises installation, this will be the address of the server where the OWM Manager is installed. If you are using OWM with Business Central SaaS, the connection information is supplied with with registration information.
Port on Server	TCP/IP port used for communication. Unless there are special network considerations, you should not change this port.
