Mileages
Submitting mileage is part of the namesake of Travel and Expense management, and is made to be as easy as possible for you, the user, to do. You will have the option to easily send in your mileages for approval with only a few clicks.
The intended way for the user to submit mileages is through the app, which can be used on whichever device you normally use apps on. The app allows you to directly from the app plot a route, and immediately send it for approval. You can, however, also use the web portal for this purpose and have the same success.

Submitting a mileage might look like this
Kimmie has to drive two towns over to visit a client. She is driving this trip in her personal car for practical purposes. The drive up there she follows her gps, and the meeting goes according to plan. On the way back, she takes a detour to drop off an offer at a second client.
After she arrives back at the office, Kimmie want to make certain the trip is properly documented, so she immediately opens the Travel and Expense Management app, puts in the address of the office as the 'from' position, the address of the first client as the 'to' position, and adds in information of which car is used etc. After clicking to submit this mileage, Kimmie is prompted to choose whether to add a return mileage to this. Since she did indeed return from this trip, she accepts, and now has to fill in the details of the return trip. They will automatically be the same, but as the trip back took a detour, Kimmie changes the distance traveled, and submits it. Now all she has to do is wait for an approver to the approve the mileage.
