Submitting expenses is an elemental part of Travel and Expense management. It allows for easy record keeping of expenses of all types, and can save you the headache of keeping track of all your receipts by simply attaching a picture of them and noting their content the moment you receive them.
The intended way for the user to submit expenses is through the app, which can be used on whichever device you normally use apps on. The app allows you to directly from the app take a photo of an expense and immediately send it for approval. You can alternatively use the web portal for this purpose and have the same success.

Submitting expenses might look like this
Kimmie is out of town to meet a potential client. After some talk, Kimmie and the client choose to go for lunch. Of course, Kimmie insists on paying. They order and enjoy their lunch, after which they ask for the receipt. Kimmie pays, and immediately opens the Travel and Expense Management app on her phone and snaps a quick photo of the receipt. She fills in the currency and amount of money spent, and adds her client as a guest. She sends the expense in, and just like that, she is done. A few hours later, her approver will have had a chance to take a look at the receipt and approve it, after which this particular expense is processed entirely from Kimmie's perspective.
