How to Create an inbound Quality test

Process Flow : Purchase Receipt

A purchase order is created for Raw material. Note, only select an Item and Vendor thats applies to one of the quality Rules that are active and applicable. The item should also be Lo tracked.
The order is released and a warehouse receipt created.
On the warehouse receipt, Assign a Lot No. using the item tracking lines on the warehouse receipt Lines.
Post the warehouse receipt.
Choose the icon, enter Lot No. Information List, and then choose the related link.
Search for the lot No., Open the Lot no. Information Card.
The Lot No. information card shows that a quality test was created, quality status is equal to Quarantine. Because of this, the field Test Quality is set to Bad. This does not mean the lot is bad, but for now it will ensure the lot :
- cannot be shipped to a customer
- cannot be consumed in a production order or assembly order
- can only be transfered to a location or bin checked for Allow quarantine

Multiple Quality test can be created for the same item and Lot depending on the setup in the Quality Rules Setup.

Choose the icon, enter Item Journals, and then choose the related link.
Create a Positive Adjustment journal line
Assign a Lot No. using the item tracking lines on the Item Journal Lines.
Post the Item Journal
Choose the icon, enter Lot No. Information List, and then choose the related link.
Search for the lot No., Open the Lot no. Information Card.
The Lot No. information card shows that a quality test was created, quality status is equal to Quarantine. Because of this, the field Test Quality is set to Bad.
