Quality Measure list

General
The quality measure defines the quality measures that be setup in a quality standard, this standard will then be proposed if applicable in the Quality test.
- Choose the icon, enter Quality Measure list, and then choose the related link.
- On the Quality measure list page, fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
- Change the status to Certified of the Quality Measure list, only a certified Quality Measure can be used in the process.

No. | Define The uniq identification of the quality measure |
description | Define the description of the quality measure |
Quality Measure Group Code | Link the quality measure to a quality group code |
Status | Indicates the status of the Quality Measure, only certified measures can be used in the process and with status Under development measures can be changed |
Type | Define the type of the quality Measure it could be Integer,Decimal,Boolean or option |
Unit of Measure Code | Define the Unit of Measure of this Measure |
Blocking Test | Define if this quality measure will be blocked or not. In case it is set to true, the result of this quality measure will define the result of the quality test |
Upper & Lower Control Values | These are simply checks to ensure that impossible values are not entered during a test (They can be edited at Quality Standard Line if required). If, during a test a value is entered which is outside these values then the value will not be accepted. |
Min. and Max. values | For decimal tests these values determine on pass or fail. A quality Standard should have a value on at least one of them. The quality measure can have values, serving as default for the standard. |
Upper & Lower Control Values | These are only for statistical analysis purposes. Values should be within the Min.- and Max allowed values. |
Sampling
In the Quality Measure List, sampling policy can be put in place by setup of the following fields.

Per Unit of Measure | If checked the No. of Samples will be multiplied by the quantity in Base UOM of the product due for testing. NOTE : E.g. for a Lot test of a produced end product the no. of samples to be taken depends on the outputted quantity (base) of the product. |
Evaluation method | refers to Measures of type Decimal; the test line will get the value from what sample (Average, Min., Max.) |
No. of passed required | refers to Measures of type Option and Boolean |
Comments
You can give in comments, e.g. as an instruction on how to test. The comment of a quality measure will be copied to the quality standard.
- From the Quality Measure list, go to the ribbon, on the tab related, choose comment
- A new page will open and the comment lines can be added.
Quality Measure Options
When a Measures is of the type Option it's necessary to set up the possible options and which result the value will give in the test (a pass or a fail).
- From the Quality Measure list, go to the ribbon, on the tab related, choose lines
- From the tab lines, choose Options
- A new page will open and the option values can be added. Indicate if the value is a pass or not.
