Fast Tab BOM and Routing on Item Card

This Manufacturing Accelerator feature gives users the possibility to easily see the contents of Routing and BOM cards when an item card is opened.
User can direct maintain the Routing and BOM from the item card.
Setup
- Choose the
icon, enter User Setup - Select the user that want to have access to the feature.
- Activate the parameter Show production item.
Execution
- Choose the icon, enter Item
- Open the Item page that you want.
- If your user has the parameter show production item activated, the fast tabs Production BOM lines and Production Routing Lines are visible.
- The factbox Components and Routing also becomes visible. The factbox contains information such as Version, Unit of Measure, Status, Where used and comments.
- Choose from the ribbon in the Actions tab and below Functions the Prod. BOM or Routing. Extra functionalities such as change status, copy, Create become available direct from the item card instead of opening the BOM or Routing card.
Note
If version management is used in the Prod. BOM or Routings, changes can only be made by opening the version card from the assist button of these fields on the item card.
