RESCHEDULING DELAYED TASKS
In this article
A production task will be planned to start at a certain date and time, the planning is done by the production planners in the planning worksheet, maybe they use a scheduling tool, like PlannerOne or Dime.
At some point, preferably the planned starting date and time, the shop floor will report a task as being started, the routing status will change to In Progress.
When, for different reasons, the task is not started at its planned date and time, it needs to be re-planned.
In standard Nav this is a manual process.
This section describes a function in Manufacturing Accelerator to automatically re-plan all tasks due to start, but not started.
Setup
Choose the icon, enter Manufacturing Setup page, 2 new parameters are available:Rescheduling Delay and Rescheduling Update.
Parameter | Description | Initial value |
---|---|---|
Rescheduling Delay | Filter on tasks due for … hours | 0 |

Execution
A report is provided that will trace all due tasks where…

- Starting Date-Time < (Current Date-Time – Rescheduling Delay)
